Something like this might become the first verse in "Gerald's Daydream"
Dove wing tips touched brushed my eyes
tied down by the ropes of night, I lied
across a feild of flowers red
petals shed dreams underneath my head
colors crossed 'neath another bridge
hid the tips of pegasus eyelids
and 'cross the silver milky shore,
I 'held a beauty I had never seen before...
(Let me know what you guys think of this stuff...)
