New Lyrics
I just came up with this stuff at school, its still a little rough, but i think im on to something....
We Met In The Rain (a possible second verse, and alternate chorus)
(scarlet)
Mum wanted kindling fast,
So I was sent to the woods out back
Warned to steer clear of the path
to keep our secret intact
I saw a round little thing
a boy is what he must have been
having only seen one in books
I gave in to temptation
........
He mumbled an awkward greeting
And I said nothing back to him
I saw what he had tried to build
I picked up the 1st plank and smiled up at him
(after the pirate verse, and the whooah ooh's here is a possible final chorus to wrap up scarlet and gerald's plans:)
We'll face all our fears!
What evil bucaneers!
We'll buckle and swash/ this couple and rob
them of their treasure dear!

by saying 'mum wanted kindling fast' this implise that scarlet is running away, not necesarly a bad thing, but that theam may need to be embeleshed latter on
Oh, I was thinking her mom asked her to go get kindling for a fire. So she went to the woods out back. She steers clear of the towns because for some reason, the towns dont know her family lives there, or the towns are hostile to them in some way.

Ohhhh I see, Scarlet didn't tell her mother she was leaving... is that what you meant? She just booked...hmm so did Gerald, I never thought of that, two little kids just up and leave for a day or two... that must terrify the parents... we won't mention their parents I don't think.
