My hair grows shaggy. Perhaps a premonition?

One of my favorite blog quotes is from Sean Weigel. I remember one post he said "I walked into MCC to pick up my little sister and found her by the pool talking to some college guy. Does anyone else get that feeeeeeeling?"

I laughed so hard when I first read that.

I have created a google groups newsletter type of thing for the band. Apparently, I will be able to email posts to a mailing list, when I puiblish them instantly.ok I have no idea how it works. More on this later.

Stuff for April 29th concert at West Side Baptist Church

Ok here it is, the official lowdown on all the stuff for the concert.
Equipment: bring your own. I will have a Fender stage dsp 100 watt half stack and another guitarist in Undeveloped story will have a 40-watt Fender Hot Rod Deluxe tube amp (that really cranks). If you want to use these you can. But it might be easier to just use what you are used to using. As far as drums go, Tim from Save Us and Danny from U.S. are both bringing there drums. You could probably use some of their stuff but I recommend bringing your own. If you don’t want to bring yours talk to me and we’ll work something out with using someone’s set. Bassists, I assume Eric from Pelicant is bringing his amp cause it’s awesome. He would probably let you use it, or there is one at the church that you could use. Microphones are no problem. We are all set on those.
If you have any equipment questions call me. (Amp size/wattage is no problem really cause amps will be miced.
Order of play: We chose the bands order by means of when they decided to play this event. There realy is no "opening" or "headlining" bands. Were all just playing. But here is the schedule.

5:30
Bands arrive and set stuff up. Basic sound checks happen. I know its hard with work and the such to have everyone be there but try as hard as you possibly can to be there at 5:30. And if someone from your band wont be there on time, bring their stuff so we can kinda get an idea on how to do stuff with it.
7:30
The Epilogue plays
8:00
The Epilogue tears down and Pelicant sets up
8:30
Pelicant starts playing
9:00
Pelicant tears down and Save Us starts setting up
(while they are doing this Todd will give a talk about this summers mission trip and talk about donations and the such.)
9:30
Save Us plays
10:00
Save Us tears down and Undeveloped Story sets up
10:30
Undeveloped Story plays
11:00
Projected ending time
I gave everyone 30 minutes of sound check time. This should be plenty. You can start before your "official" start time and play longer than the 30 minutes, you just can’t bleed into the other bands set up time. So if it takes 5 minutes to set up, technically you have 55 minutes of playtime.
Putting it simply, each band has about an hour, to set up and play.
(to those of you in The Epilogue, you can start at 7 if you want, there just wont be as many people there than there would be if you started at 7:30.
This is not a paying gig, just a chance to play for a cool crowd. Thank you for participating and making this cool.
-Ryan of Undeveloped Story.

Fat Rat Press

Check out the prices on t-shirts in bulk at this website, its crazy. We could easily get 47 t-shirts made up for under 5 bones each. Thats a deal. So we need to get this name nailed down to the floor so jeff and joel can get on that.

Next Friday, the 29th, we will be playing at West Side Baptist Church, at 7pm!! This will be our first show that won't be on a basement in front of all our friends, so any friendly people who could come and help us not freak out would be very appreciated. Thank you.
